Job summary

Stir is seeking a Chef Manager to lead our school catering site with a strong blend of culinary excellence and business acumen. You will drive menu quality, staff development, cost control, and on-site client relations to ensure exceptional dining for students and staff.

The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term-time calendar) at £15 per hour, with DBS disclosure required. Opportunity for growth and employee development.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of a catering team.
• Strong grasp of gross profit management and cost control.
• Experience in menu development and fresh ingredients.
• Ability to drive sales via promotions and events.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in a professional kitchen.
