Job summary

Aspens Family in Clevedon is recruiting a Catering Assistant to support our kitchen during the lunchtime rush. You will help with basic food preparation and deliver friendly service to students and staff, with full training provided for tills and service.

We offer Monday to Friday hours during school term time (25 hours per week, 38 weeks per year) at £12.71 per hour, focusing on a great work-life balance and opportunity to grow with our catering team.

Qualifications

• You’re a team player and thrive as part of a busy team.
• You have previous catering or fast-paced service experience.
• You have a basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• The Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification is great, but not essential as we can provide the training!

Responsibilities

• Working on the tills during service (don’t worry, full training is provided!).
• Providing friendly, polite customer service to all students and staff.
• Assisting the team with basic food preparation
• Maintaining a safe, clean kitchen environment and meeting Health and Safety compliance
