Job summary

Leigh Academy Ebbsfleet is seeking to recruit a suitably experienced Art, Textiles, and Food Technology Technician to join a well‑motivated and successful team for a term‑time position with scope for development.

Ideally you will have an A‑Level (or equivalent) in a relevant field, and/or appropriate industry or practical experience; you will manage resources and support practical lessons across the three subjects.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification of an A‑Level (or equivalent) in a relevant creative or culinary field, and/or appropriate industry or practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate use and maintenance of practical resources, workshop tools, and kitchen equipment for lessons.
• Prepare materials, organise tools, and measure ingredients for practical sessions.
• Set up specialist equipment to ensure resources are available for lessons.
• Deliver equipment and supplies to classrooms and collect, check, and return items to stores.
• Ensure items are stored safely, hygienically and appropriately.
• Work independently or as part of a larger team to support curriculum needs.
