Job summary

Leigh Academy Ebbsfleet is seeking an experienced Art, Textiles, and Food Technology Technician for a term-time, part-time role. The candidate will maintain resources, equipment and materials for practical lessons, ensuring supplies are available and stored hygienically.

The role offers scope for development within a collaborative MAT network. The successful applicant will work 8:00–16:00 on three days per week, with some flexibility on the third day.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification of an A‑Level (or equivalent) in a relevant creative or culinary field.
• Experience coordinating use and maintenance of practical resources would be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate use and maintenance of practical resources, workshop tools and kitchen equipment.
• Prepare materials, organise tools, measure ingredients and set up specialist equipment for lessons.
• Deliver equipment to classrooms and return items to stores, ensuring safe, hygienic storage.
• Work independently and as part of a team to support practical curricula with initiative.
