Job summary

KOOSA Kids Ltd in Odiham, Hampshire, is recruiting an After School Club Assistant to work at Buryfields Infant School. The role is part time, term time only, Monday to Friday from 2.55pm to 6.00pm, at the after school club.

You will assist the After School Club Manager with running the club, help deliver activities, supervise snack time, support children and be mindful of safeguarding and Ofsted standards.

Qualifications

• Passion for childcare, early years or playwork setting.
• Fun and energetic by nature.
• Reliable with good communication with colleagues and children.
• Able to relate to children aged 4–11 years.
• Full training and inductions provided to all staff.

Responsibilities

• Actively assist the After School Club Manager in the safe, organised running of the club.
• Help set up, deliver daily activities and encourage children to participate.
• Assist in snack time preparation, service and tidying.
• Be aware of children with additional needs and Safeguarding requirements.
• Develop strong relationships with every child to maximise enjoyment.
• Understand Ofsted standards and KOOSA Kids policies and procedures.
• Ensure activity areas are cleaned and tidied at day end.
