Job summary

KOOSA Kids is recruiting an After School Club Assistant to join our friendly team at the Buryfields Infant School in Odiham, Hook, delivering a safe and engaging before/after school experience. The role is part-time, term time only, Monday to Friday from 2.55pm to 6.00pm, supporting the After School Club Manager and helping deliver a varied activities programme for children aged 4–11.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in childcare or playwork settings.
• Reliable and able to communicate with colleagues and children.
• Willingness to participate in full training and inductions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the safe and organised running of the After School Club.
• Help set up, deliver and encourage participation in daily activities.
• Assist with snack time preparation, serving and tidying.
• Be aware of children with additional needs and safeguarding requirements.
• Develop relationships with children to ensure fun and engagement.
• Understand Ofsted standards and KOOSA Kids policies.
