Job summary

KOOSA Kids Ltd. is hiring an After School Club Assistant at Godalming Junior School in Godalming, GU7. The role is part-time, Monday–Friday from 2.45pm to 6.00pm, supporting a friendly team with safe, engaging childcare.

You will assist in delivering the after-school programme, helping children explore activities, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment in line with Ofsted and KOOSA Kids policies.

Qualifications

• Passion or interest in childcare, early years or playwork.
• Fun, energetic nature and reliability.
• Ability to engage with children aged 4–11 and communicate with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist the After School Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the club.
• Help set up, organise and deliver a range of activities daily and encourage participation.
• Assist in snack time preparation, service and tidying.
• Be aware of children with additional needs and provide support as needed.
• Develop strong relationships with all children to maximise enjoyment.
• Understand Ofsted standards and KOOSA Kids policies, including safeguarding.
• Ensure activity areas are clean and tidy at day end.
