Job summary

KOOSA Kids are recruiting an After School Club Childcare Playwork Assistant for Buryfields Infant School, Odiham. The role is part-time, term-time only, 2:55pm–6:00pm, Monday to Thursday, supporting a safe, engaging after-school programme.

You will assist the Club Manager in delivering activities, ensuring a fun, secure environment and developing children’s confidence and skills in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in working with children in a school/after-school setting.
• Experience in Primary School, Pre-School or Nursery is advantageous.
• Willingness to participate in training and safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the After School Club Manager in daily running of the club.
• Deliver a varied programme of activities and encourage participation.
• Assist with snack time preparation and tidying away.
• Be aware of and support children with additional needs (physical, behavioral, dietary).
• Build positive relationships with children to maximise enjoyment and safety.
• Develop understanding of Ofsted standards and KOOSA Kids policies, including safeguarding.
• Ensure activity areas are clean and tidy at day end.
