Job summary

BRUSH Group is seeking a Tendering Engineer to drive commercial success by preparing and managing tenders, bids and cost analyses. You will work with Sales and Procurement to develop commercially viable solutions aligned with client needs and business objectives.

The role requires attention to detail, technical expertise in MV/LV switchgear, and a proactive approach to compliance with company policies and industry standards. Hybrid working options are available.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Technical background and experience in MV and LV Electrical Switchgear.
• Understanding of switchgear components and product limitations.
• Keen to learn and develop.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Pro-active attitude and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage commercial and technical offers across switchgear products to maximise orders.
• Assess incoming enquiries and identify capabilities and strategies to enhance offers.
• Collaborate with Key Account Managers and Sales Managers on timescales and tactics.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Production to meet customer requirements cost-effectively.
• Review tender terms and conditions and seek clarifications with legal/risk teams.
• Ensure bid quality and accuracy, delivering optimal solutions to customers.
• Develop, negotiate and confirm contract specifications with contractors, end-users and OEMs.
