Job summary

Lucy Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Tendering & Design Engineer to support technically compliant tender submissions for LV switchgear, package substations and EV infrastructure.

You will contribute to both tendering and preliminary design, producing solutions, drawings, equipment selections and costing support for customer inquiries. The role collaborates with Tendering, Sales, Procurement and Manufacturing, requiring strong electrical distribution knowledge and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Tendering Engineer, Design Engineer, Applications Engineer or similar role.
• Experience within LV switchgear for EV sector, power distribution or package substation design is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electrical distribution systems and related industry standards.
• Experience producing technical and commercial tender documentation in line with current processes.

Responsibilities

• Create contract drawings and tender documentation for submissions.
• Develop technically compliant customer solutions for LV switchgear, package substations and EV charging projects.
• Prepare technical submissions, equipment schedules and supporting documentation within deadlines.
• Assist with post-tender clarifications and support value engineering to optimise project costs.
