Luton Bennett is recruiting a Tendering Engineer in Ipswich to lead the tendering process, including proposals and pricing for bespoke engineering solutions. You will work with a four-person sales team with potential progression into leadership.

Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours per Week, 1pm Friday Finish

Tendering Engineer required for a leading engineering company due to continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a company who work within a variety of industries. This role also offers a clear progression route for someone looking to step into a managerial level role.

This role would suit candidates with experience in tendering focused role within an engineering environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the tendering process through the preparation of high-quality tenders, proposals and pricing schedules. You will work alongside a team of four within the sales team which will continue to grow with opportunity to step into a leadership role.

The Tendering Engineer Role:

• Preparation of tenders, technical proposals and pricing schedules for bespoke engineering solutions
• Interpret customer specifications, drawings and tender documents
• Confirmation of compliance and identification of risks
• Produce clear cost estimates, aligning with company margins and commercial guidelines
• Management of BID deadlines and support negotiations and project management

The Tender Engineer Candidate:

• Experience in a similar role – tendering, proposals, bids, sales etc.
