Job summary

Luton Bennett in Ipswich is seeking a Tendering Manager (Engineer / Proposals / BIDS) to lead the tendering process for bespoke engineering solutions. You will prepare tenders, proposals and pricing schedules working with a four-person sales team, with potential to progress into leadership.

The role requires an engineering background, experience in tendering/bids and proficiency with Microsoft Office; a strong eye for costings and risk management is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in tendering-focused role within an engineering environment.
• Proven ability to prepare tenders, proposals and pricing schedules.
• Strong reading of customer specifications, drawings and tender documents.
• Cost estimation aligned with company margins and guidelines.
• Experience managing BID deadlines and supporting negotiations.

Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours per Week, 1pm Friday Finish

Tendering Manager required for a leading engineering company due to continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a company who work within a variety of industries.

This role would suit candidates with experience in tendering focused role within an engineering environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the tendering process through the preparation of high-quality tenders, proposals and pricing schedules. You will work alongside a team of four within the sales team which will continue to grow with opportunity to step into a leadership role.

The Tendering Manager Role:
