Luton Bennett is recruiting a Tendering Engineer in Ipswich to lead the tendering process, including proposals and pricing for bespoke engineering solutions. You will work with a four-person sales team with potential progression into leadership.

The role requires experience in tendering and a solid engineering background, with a focus on delivering high-quality tenders and achieving compliant, competitive bids. Onsite role with standard hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in tendering, proposals and bids within an engineering environment.
• Engineering background in industrial sector.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Prepare tenders, technical proposals and pricing schedules for bespoke engineering solutions.
• Interpret customer specifications, drawings and tender documents.
• Confirm compliance and identify risks.
• Produce clear cost estimates aligned with margins and guidelines.
• Manage BID deadlines and support negotiations and project management.
