Job summary

Rubicon Consulting in the United Kingdom is seeking a role to support the Head of Pre-Construction & Tendering (UK) by improving consistency, quality and commercial accuracy of the tender process. You will establish and maintain a resource capacity forecast converting the live tender pipeline into forecast headcount demand.

Qualifications

• Understanding of commercial terms, cost build-ups, margin, escalation and contingency.
• Translate analysis into plain language and a recommended action.

Responsibilities

• Review as-built cable schedules and compare quantities against live projects to mitigate design risk.
• Review tenders for compliance with the process and gate requirements, ensuring deliverables are complete and consistent.
• Assess commercial accuracy in cost build-up logic, escalation, indexation and risk provision.
• Analyse live tenders against prior projects to ensure pricing consistency across portfolio by type, complexity and location.
• Review tender process documents, templates and gate deliverables definitions.
• Create the Excel structure to forecast project archetypes.
• Apply probability weighting to the pipeline to reflect likely wins and delivery.
• Compare forecast demand with current establishment to identify headcount needs.
• Produce scenario views (win/lose/delay) to support recruitment and subcontracting decisions.
• Refresh and publish the forecast on a monthly cycle.
