Reed Recruitment are seeking a Civils Estimator for a leading civil engineering and building contractor. The role is based in Warrington and involves delivering comprehensive estimating services and managing tender processes.

You will prepare tenders from first principles, lead discussions with suppliers, and contribute to pre-tender and post-tender activities alongside a dynamic team. A competitive salary and benefits package awaits.

Qualifications

• HND/C in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Two+ years in an estimating department.
• Understand construction techniques and how costs map to tender outcomes.
• Ability to form bills of quantities from drawings by hand or software.

Responsabilités

• Provide estimating service for assigned projects or portfolios.
• Identify risks from project docs and market conditions.
• Prepare tenders from first principles using Conquest and supplier costs.
• Lead discussions with suppliers/subcontractors during tender.
