Job summary

Clanmil Housing Association is seeking a Tenancy Support Co-Ordinator based in Belfast. The role is 37 hours per week, permanent full-time, with a salary in the £27,609.15–£31,000.47 per annum range.

You will welcome tenants, conduct home visits, and coordinate sign-up procedures for new tenants. You will develop partnerships with local services, respond to antisocial behaviour concerns, and help residents access support.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in housing, community, or support-based roles.
• Able to signpost to external services and agencies.
• Flexible, proactive, and compassionate in approach.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new tenants and explain sign-up processes and tenant handbooks.
• Carry out home visits and support schemes across the Belfast area.

• Respond to antisocial behaviour complaints, take statements, and review CCTV footage.
• Support older tenants to reduce isolation and arrange community activities.

Tenancy Support Co-Ordinator

Based at The Port Building, South Belfast

37 hours per week

£27,609.15-£31,000.47 per annum

About the role:

We’re seeking a Tenancy Support Co Ordinator to join Team Clanmil! You will be based in The Prot Building, South Belfast covering schemes in the surrounding area. You will welcome new tenants to their homes, providing and explaining tenant handbooks, sign up new tenants and carry out home visits. Develop strong partnerships with organisations that promote and support our tenants e.g. floating support services, Advice NI, local councils and advocacy support You will respond to complaints of antisocial behaviour across including taking statements, reviewing cctv footage and supporting the Housing Officer to take enforcement action. You will also Support older tenants to reduce social isolation, arrange activities to promote a sense of community.

A bit about you:

You will have at least one year’s experience working in a housing, community, or support-based role, with a good understanding of how to signpost individuals to appropriate support services and external agencies. You will be proactive, compassionate, and confident in building positive relationships with people from a range of backgrounds.

You will be able to travel independently to meet the requirements of the role without reliance on public transport and demonstrate a flexible, practical approach to service delivery, ensuring support is provided effectively and sustainably. You will also be willing and able to respond to out-of-hours emergencies when required, showing initiative, resilience, and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes.
