Great Yarmouth Borough Council is seeking an experienced Tenancy Relations Officer to protect tenants and support responsible landlords. Great Yarmouth Borough Council is creating an important new opportunity for an experienced and determined housing or enforcement professional to protect tenants, support responsible landlords and tackle unlawful practices within the private rented sector.
As our new Tenancy Relations Officer you will lead the Council’s work to prevent harassment and illegal eviction as well as investigating and enforcing the Renters Rights Act 2025. You will provide clear, practical advice, intervene early when tenancies are at risk and take firm, proportionate enforcement action when the law is breached.
Strong experience of tenancy protection, housing regulation or a related enforcement field, supported by sound knowledge of landlord and tenant law.
The role offers a 2 year fixed term contract, flexible working and a hybrid working arrangement.
