Job summary

Nexo People is recruiting a Tenancy Sustainment Officer for a permanent full-time role in Leicester. You will provide housing management support to people with multiple and complex needs, helping them settle into a new home and develop skills to maintain tenancy.

The role includes budgeting support, rent accounts management and safeguarding responsibilities, with some weekend work. DBS check required and right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable people with independent living skills.
• Experience overcoming barriers to housing for those with disadvantage.
• Organised, multitasking, policy-driven and able to follow procedures.
• Experience managing rent accounts and arrears processes.
• Experience with health and safety and maintaining premises standards.
• Experience safeguarding policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess referrals against scheme criteria.
• Complete safety tasks and home inspections.
• Support budgeting and financial inclusion to develop independent living skills.
• Manage rent accounts and arrears processes.
• Record tenancy notes via online CRM on desktop and mobile devices.
• Identify and report safeguarding concerns per policy.
• Align work with the charity's values and ethos.
