Job summary

Hyde is seeking a Property Caseworker (Tenancy Management Advisor) in Chichester, offering 2 days in-office and 3 days remote working. Salary £28,500 - £30,000, dependent on experience. The role focuses on frontline tenancy management, ASB mitigation, and delivering customer-centred housing services.

You will handle ASB and tenancy queries, provide guidance, and work with partners to ensure compliant, safe housing outcomes across the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in ASB, tenancy management or housing-related casework.
• Some knowledge of housing law, tenancy processes and safeguarding principles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive conversations.
• Experience in lettings, estate agency, local council housing or customer service within the housing sector.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for ASB and tenancy management queries.
• Provide clear, accurate advice and guidance to customers.
• Support early intervention approaches including mediation and prevention.
• Manage and update case records accurately using CRM systems.
• Support tenancy changes including joint-to-sole applications, household updates and bereavement cases.
• Investigate issues such as abandonment, illegal subletting and tenancy breaches.
• Carry out risk assessments and support case planning.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies including police, local authorities and safeguarding partners.
• Ensure full compliance with housing legislation, safeguarding, GDPR and organisational policies.
