Job summary

Hyde is seeking a Housing Advisor (Tenancy Management Advisor) in Chichester. The role blends office-based and remote work (2 days in the office, 3 days remote) to deliver a responsive, customer-focused housing service.

You will handle ASB and tenancy queries, provide accurate guidance, and support interventions while maintaining case records and coordinating with partners to ensure compliant service delivery. The salary reflects experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in ASB, tenancy management or housing-related casework
• Some knowledge of housing law, tenancy processes and safeguarding principles
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive conversations

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for ASB and tenancy management queries
• Provide clear, accurate advice and guidance to customers
• Support early intervention approaches including mediation and prevention
• Manage and update case records accurately using CRM systems
• Support tenancy changes including joint-to-sole applications, household updates and bereavement cases
• Investigate issues such as abandonment, illegal subletting and tenancy breaches
• Carry out risk assessments and support case planning
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies including police, local authorities and safeguarding partners
• Ensure full compliance with housing legislation, safeguarding, GDPR and organisational policies
