Job summary

Hyde is seeking a Housing Tenancy Management Officer in Chichester to join our frontline team, tackling ASB, tenancy enforcement, and safeguarding concerns. You will lead investigations, assess risk, and manage breaches while working with police, authorities, and community partners to protect and sustain safe, well-managed homes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) or tenancy management within housing/regulated environments.
• Strong investigative and case management skills
• Ability to build trust and de-escalate confrontational situations
• Collaborative working across agencies and internal teams

Responsibilities

• Lead and resolve ASB and tenancy enforcement cases from start to finish
• Conduct investigations, risk assessments and develop clear case plans
• Manage breaches including illegal occupation, abandonment and subletting
• Support sensitive cases involving safeguarding, domestic abuse and vulnerability
• Prepare high-quality legal documentation and attend court when necessary
• Work closely with police, local authorities, safeguarding teams and community partners
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legislation and policy
• Identify trends and contribute to service improvement and prevention strategies
