Job summary

Kier Group in Penrith, Cumbria, United Kingdom is seeking a Temporary Works Coordinator to join the A66 NTP Project team. The role focuses on coordinating Temporary Works, ensuring plans are designed, approved and delivered safely to support the scheme.

Based in Penrith with hybrid working, the position offers £50,000–£60,000 per year plus private healthcare and a £5,900 car allowance. This is a permanent full-time role on a major highways upgrade programme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience coordinating Temporary Works on major civil engineering projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of Temporary Works solutions and associated design checks.
• Ability to apply Temporary Works management procedures and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Temporary Works across site teams, designers and the Technical Assurance team.
• Manage the full design preparation, checking and approval process for Temporary Works.
• Liaise with in-house teams, supply chain partners and external consultants to progress Temporary Works on schedule.
• Ensure Temporary Works are implemented on site per approved designs, including inspections and audits.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to the Temp Works team.
