Job summary

Ferrovial BAM JV is seeking a Temporary Works Design Manager to join the HS2 track infrastructure project in Birmingham during its early design phase. You will lead the design of temporary railheads and related temporary works, ensuring HS2 standards, safety rules, and contract requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive design/engineering management experience, temporary works, instrumentation & monitoring on large infra projects.
• Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer preferred; railway project experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee temporary works design to HS2 standards and contract requirements.
• Be first point of contact between designer and site team for temporary works.
• Ensure training and competency checks for on-site temporary works management.
