Qualifications

• Practically-minded with a grounding in civil, structural and/or geotechnical engineering principles.
• Experience in temporary works design and/or management.
• Ability to apply first principles thinking to real-world construction challenges.
• Strong organisational and communication skills for collaborative teams.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to delivery of a broad range of complex construction engineering services, including temporary works design and checking, reviewing permanent designs for buildability and compliance.
• Support tenders and preconstruction planning, and provide technical input to overcome construction-stage issues.
• Act as Project Lead for simpler projects, managing scope, programme and budget, and coordinating with preconstruction and construction teams.
• Develop processes and systems to enable the business to meet current and future challenges.
