Job summary

NRL in Teesside is seeking an experienced Temporary Works Co-ordinator to lead the design, approval and on-site oversight of temporary works across the project lifecycle.

You will coordinate with designers, clients and site teams, ensure TW procedures are implemented, review designs, supervise TW Supervisors and maintain schedules to meet milestones. On-site, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in temporary works to match the type and complexity of the assigned project.
• Completion of an industry-approved Temporary Works Co-ordinator (TWC) training course, or an equivalent update/refresher course.
• Knowledge of Temporary Works procedures and the ability to implement them effectively.
• Evidence of competence through recent training, knowledge and experience within the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with all parties involved in the design and construction of temporary works.
• Liaise with clients to determine if schemes impact the public and manage approval processes.
• Compile and regularly update Temporary Works Schedules and review with designers and project leads.
• Ensure that an adequate Temporary Works design is produced and approved.
• Supervise and assess the competence of Temporary Works Supervisors alongside the Project Lead.
• Review the design brief for adequacy before issuing it to the designer.
• Monitor the timing of designs, checks and construction to align with project schedules.
• Oversee inspections and ensure temporary works are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
