Job summary

Kirkby High School invites applications for a capable Computing teacher. You will deliver computing lessons up to KS3 and KS4, align to the National Curriculum changes, and foster safeguarding and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will show enthusiasm for computing, inspire students, develop good relationships, and contribute to extra-curricular activities and professional development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status essential.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum changes for computing.
• Ability to teach computing up to KS3 and KS4.
• Excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching computing.
• Experience using ICT in computing.
• Commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing.
• Good classroom management and organisational skills.
• Willingness to share best practice and learn from others.
• Ability to work as part of a supportive team.
• Experience in extra-curricular activities.
