Job summary

Berkeley Scott is recruiting School Chefs for Bristol and surrounding areas, with assignments starting in September. Roles are temporary and offer weekly pay and holiday pay, at up to £23.00 per hour depending on experience.

Essential qualifications include an Enhanced DBS and Food Hygiene Level 3, with prior school catering or high-volume kitchen experience preferred. Flexible shifts and ongoing opportunities across Bristol and nearby locations.

Qualifications

• Previous chef experience in schools or high-volume kitchens.
• Enhanced DBS certificate is essential.
• Food Hygiene Level 3 certificate is essential.
• Reliable and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving nutritious meals for pupils and staff.
• Supporting the day-to-day running of school kitchens.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health and safety standards.
• Catering for allergens and special dietary requirements.
• Assisting with stock control, food preparation and kitchen cleanliness.
