A range of schools and educational settings require reliable chefs who can hit the ground running in busy environments. Essential requirements include a current Enhanced DBS Certificate and Food Hygiene Level 2.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering school/education catering in fast-paced environments.
• Strong food safety and hygiene practices are required.
• Must be able to work independently and reliably.
• Allergen management and dietary considerations must be understood.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for pupils and staff.
• Support daily kitchen operations and stock control.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Cater for allergens and special dietary needs.
