Job summary

Berkeley Scott seeks experienced School Chefs for Cirencester on temporary assignments across town and surrounding areas. You will prepare nutritious meals for pupils and staff, support daily kitchen operations and uphold hygiene standards in busy school environments. Enhanced DBS is essential.

Pay rates reach up to £23.00 per hour (DOE) with weekly pay, holiday pay, and flexible shifts. Ongoing work across Bristol, Bath, Taunton, Weston-Super-Mare, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Swindon and nearby

Qualifications

• Previous chef experience in schools or education catering.
• Current Enhanced DBS Certificate.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate.
• Strong understanding of allergens and dietary requirements.
• Reliable and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for pupils and staff.
• Support day-to-day running of school kitchens.
• Maintain food hygiene and health and safety standards.
• Cater for allergens and dietary requirements.
• Assist with stock control, prep and kitchen cleanliness.
