Job summary

BP Retail in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a temporary customer service assistant for an initial six-week contract. You will join a fast-paced, store-based team and receive comprehensive training to help you succeed from day one.

Key responsibilities include serving customers, handling deliveries, stocking shelves, promoting bp offers and loyalty schemes, and maintaining store and café cleanliness. Applicants aged 16+ are welcome to apply, with support to develop essential customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Making sure that the safety of yourself, your colleagues and our customers, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Serving customers efficiently, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively
• Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, in line with bp beliefs
• Preparing and serving food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café
• Taking in deliveries, replenishing stock and completing stock management tasks
• Being proactive in supporting bp’s offers, promotions and loyalty scheme
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities and forecourt
