Job summary

Consult KA Ltd in the UK is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a fast-paced, short-term assignment. You will support the Finance Manager, process invoices, and help keep the ledger up to date during a period of change.

Based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, the 4–6 week contract offers hands-on responsibility, including matching, batching, coding invoices, and producing daily CSV uploads for the SAGE system. Experience with Sage is a plus, and accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchase ledger and supplier payments.
• Ability to liaise confidently with departments and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Match, batch and code invoices; supplier statement reconciliations.
• Query resolution and maintain ledger accuracy.
• Create supplier payment runs on the SAGE system.
• Daily csv production for uploading into SAGE.
