Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk - Gillingham - £15.60 per hour

We are currently seeking a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk to support a busy finance team based in Gillingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and previous experience in accounts payable.

Location: Gillingham

Rate: £15.60 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary (with potential for extension)

Key Responsibilities:

* Accurately processing high volumes of purchase invoices
* Matching, batching, and coding invoices
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Resolving supplier and internal queries
* Supporting the finance team with month-end tasks

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Excellent communication and time management skills
