Job summary

Multitask Personnel are recruiting Meter Readers in the Doncaster area for a leading utilities provider. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with potential to become permanent, at £13.45 per hour plus bonuses and mileage.

You will visit homes and businesses to take meter readings, perform basic checks, record data via a mobile app, and manage your own schedule. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Access to your own vehicle for work.
• Must live in Doncaster or surrounding area.
• Able to pass a basic DBS check; provide 5 years of references.

Multitask Personnel are working with a leading utilities provider to recruit Meter Readers in the Doncaster area.

This is initially a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for a permanent opportunity following the initial contract period.

The Role

We are looking for reliable, customer-focused people who are comfortable working independently.

You will enjoy being out and about each day, be confident speaking with customers and be able to organise your own workload effectively.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
• Access to your own vehicle for work
• Valid MOT where applicable
• Business insurance or willingness to obtain it
• Must live in Doncaster or the surrounding area
• Able to pass a basic DBS check
• Able to provide 5 years of work references

Desirable Experience

• Customer service or field-based experience
• Using mobile apps or handheld devices
• Awareness of GDPR and confidentiality
• Experience managing your own workload
