Job summary

Career Moves Group is seeking an experienced Temporary Management Accountant to support a busy finance team during growth and change. You will own the full month-end close process and deliver timely management accounts.

The role is temporary with immediate availability or short notice; you will work with QuickBooks or Sage and collaborate with senior stakeholders to maintain robust financial controls.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or finalist studying towards ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Experience producing management accounts and owning the full month-end close cycle.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or Sage.
• Strong reconciliation, reporting, and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently and hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end month-end and year-end close process.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
• Assist with financial analysis and reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Maintain and improve financial controls and processes.
