Job summary

Itchy Feet is seeking a temporary Management Accountant for a duration of 6-9 months to maintain financial records, perform month-end tasks, and uphold financial controls. You will report to the Finance Manager and contribute to accurate reporting and decision-making.

The role involves bank reconciliations, budgeting, KPIs development, and collaboration with the Finance Manager, with potential for permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Management Accountant role.
• Experience in a commercial accounting environment.
• Familiarity with NetSuite and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Complete month-end tasks and reconcile inter-company and balance sheet accounts.
• Reconcile monthly bank statements for cash accuracy.
• Support implementation of internal controls and policies.
• Prepare weekly flash reports and monthly Management Accounts.
• Develop KPIs and management information for business decisions.
• Maintain internal controls to support operations.
• Prepare GST and Social Security returns.
• Maintain and update the Chart of Accounts.
• Assist in IT systems development to improve processes.
• Review systems and procedures and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance Manager on annual statutory accounts.
• Prepare the annual budget and reforecasts.
• Provide financial insights to operational teams.
• Support team with administrative tasks.
• Undertake additional duties as requested.
