Career Moves is seeking an experienced Temporary Management Accountant to support a busy finance team during a period of growth and change. The role owns the full month-end close and delivers accurate monthly management accounts with supporting schedules.

The ideal candidate is immediately available, studying towards ACCA or CIMA, and has proven experience producing management accounts and leading the month-end close cycle.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or finalist studying towards ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Experience producing management accounts and owning full month-end close cycle.
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks or Sage.
• Excellent reconciliation, reporting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end month-end and year-end close process.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
• Assist with financial analysis and reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Maintain and improve financial controls and processes.
