Job summary

Iconic Resourcing is seeking a hands-on Management Accountant for a 3-month contract in the UK. You will own core month-end tasks from day one, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations, while delivering timely management information.

You will support budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc reporting, with strong Excel and ERP system experience to drive improvements in a fast-moving finance team.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAS or equivalent) or QBE with strong management accounting experience.
• Experience producing month-end and management reporting in a commercial environment.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a busy team.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare management accounts and variance analysis with commentary for budget holders.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc reporting.
• Manage cost centre reporting and respond to queries across the business.
• Help with balance sheet reviews, fixed assets and intercompany reconciliations.
• Support audit and year-end work as needed.
• Identify quick wins to tidy up and improve processes.
