Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting are working with a fast-growing business on the outskirts of Exeter to recruit a temporary Management Accountant. The role is until the end of October and offers the chance to hit the ground running within a supportive finance team.

You will prepare monthly management accounts, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and support budgeting/forecasting with strong Excel skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance role with management accounting responsibilities.
• Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to hit the ground running in a temporary assignment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts.
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitoring cashflow and producing related analysis.
• Assisting with statutory returns and year-end reporting.
• Overseeing supplier payments and credit control processes.
• Producing financial reports and commercial analysis.
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
• Business partnering with operational managers across the organisation.
