My client, a busy hotel and restaurant operation in Newquay, requires an experienced Head Chef to cover from 7th August to 18th August. Location: Newquay, Cornwall. You will manage the kitchen, guide a small team, control stock, and ensure top quality and hygiene standards for a busy service.

Private hotel room and meals are included with live-in accommodation. Competitive hourly rate of £22.00 depending on business levels.

Qualifications

• Seasoned Head Chef or senior sous chef with hotel/restaurant pantry experience.
• Proven ability to lead a small kitchen team under pressure.
• Knowledge of health and safety and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day kitchen operations and service delivery.
• Lead and support a small team of two chefs.
• Control stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Maintain high food quality and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene rules.

Position: Head Chef

Location: Newquay, Cornwall

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day operation of the kitchen
• Leading and supporting a team of two other chefs
• Stock control and ordering
• Maintaining food quality and consistency
• Ensuring all Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations are adhered to
• Overseeing kitchen compliance and smooth service delivery

Package

£22.00 per hour
Hours will vary depending on business levels
