Job summary

Reed is seeking a hands-on Temporary Finance Manager to take ownership of core finance processes and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in the United Kingdom.

The role includes VAT returns, PAYE and pension administration, and payroll for roughly 50 weekly employees and 10–12 monthly/weekly staff. You will maintain ledgers and prepare accounts up to Trial Balance, with ad hoc finance tasks as needed.

• Preparation of financial data up to Trial Balance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Manage PAYE and pension contributions.
• Oversee weekly and monthly payroll for ~50 weekly employees and 10–12 monthly/weekly staff.
• Maintain and reconcile both Sales and Purchase Ledgers.
• Produce accounts up to Trial Balance.
• Support general finance operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with ad hoc finance tasks.
