Job summary

Tech People is seeking a proactive Workplace Administrator with an Electrical/Plumbing bias to cover a temporary period in London. You will support daily office operations, safety, and presentation, performing routine maintenance checks and addressing minor facilities issues to keep the environment safe and functional.

The role requires practical, hands-on organisation, the ability to work independently, and the skill to prioritise competing requests.

Qualifications

• Manual Handling Certification and practical experience safely moving boxes, paper stock, equipment and office furniture.
• Previous experience in facilities, workplace services, maintenance or building services.
• Strong health & safety awareness and ability to follow site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out basic electrical maintenance and safety checks.
• Perform minor plumbing tasks and legionella-related duties.
• Manage daily walkthroughs, safety logs and hazard reporting.
• Support mailroom, logistics and office moves as required.
• Ensure a safe, tidy and well-presented workplace.
