Job summary

Tech-People is seeking a proactive Workplace Administrator with an Electrical/Plumbing bias to provide temporary cover in London. The role covers electrical and plumbing maintenance, safety checks, and general facilities tasks to keep the office safe and well-presented.

Working hours are 08:00–17:00, five days a week, with a contract running 14 September 2026 to 2 October 2026. The successful candidate will manage routine maintenance, respond to facilities issues, and perform daily walkthroughs,

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities, workplace services or similar environments.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and multi-task effectively.
• Independent worker with proactive approach and strong organisational skills.
• Good communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out basic electrical maintenance tasks safely and within competency.
• Undertake minor plumbing and fabric repairs as required.
• Support general maintenance and handyman tasks to keep the workplace safe and presentable.
• Conduct daily workplace walkthroughs to identify hazards and ensure logs are updated.
• Support mailroom and general logistics as needed.
• Follow health and safety procedures and COSHH requirements.
