Job summary

Angard Recruitment supports Royal Mail in hiring flexible Post Person with Driving roles across local delivery routes. You will drive a Royal Mail van, with parts of your route completed on foot, delivering letters and parcels in your community.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence with <=6 points, physical stamina to walk up to 20,000 steps daily, and the ability to adapt to varying shifts. Training and a driving assessment are provided.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, with parts of your route completed on foot.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
