Brampton Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Temporary Assistant Accountant to join a small team in Stoke on Trent. The role is initially through to mid/end November and requires hands-on experience in purchase and sales ledgers, cash postings, and journal postings.

You will work independently in a finance environment, using accountancy software, with a preference for an AAT qualification and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

Must have previous experience as an Assistant Accountant.
Experience using accountancy software.
AAT qualification preferable.
Excel skills required.
Be able to work in a small team.

Responsibilities

Manage purchase ledger and sales ledger.
Post cash and bank statements.
Post journals.
Assist with ad-hoc duties to support accounts.
