Job summary

Brampton Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Temporary Assistant Accountant to join a small team in Stoke on Trent. The role is initially through to mid/end November and requires hands-on experience in purchase and sales ledgers, cash postings, and journal postings.

You will work independently in a finance environment, using accountancy software, with a preference for an AAT qualification and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience as an Assistant Accountant.
• Experience using accountancy software.
• AAT qualification preferable.
• Excel skills required.
• Be able to work in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase ledger and sales ledger.
• Post cash and bank statements.
• Post journals.
• Assist with ad-hoc duties to support accounts.
