Southdown is seeking a Temporary Accommodation Placements Lead in Brighton and Hove to manage nominations and placements within the ETAS team, co-located with Brighton & Hove City Council. You will assess housing need, risk and safeguarding, coordinating placements to meet residents’ needs with compassion.

Reporting to Manager Operations, Housing Support, you’ll lead cross-agency collaboration, maintain records and monitor occupancy, contributing to trauma-informed, psychologically informed

Qualificações

• Experience in housing, homelessness or supported housing services, including assessing referrals and coordinating placements or allocations.
• Understanding of housing pathways and homelessness legislation, with ability to consider housing need, risk, safeguarding and support requirements.
• Strong communication and partnership-working skills with the ability to work collaboratively with councils, housing providers and other agencies.
• Good organisation and record-keeping, prioritising referrals and handling confidential data.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate nominations across the ETAS pathway and lead placements.
• Assess housing need, risk, safeguarding and support requirements for residents.
• Work with councils and housing providers to resolve placement issues and guide nomination processes.
