Job summary

Jobandtalent is recruiting for a Transport Admin Clerk in Oldbury to support a fast-paced logistics operation. The role focuses on despatching drivers, ensuring on-time departures, and handling general admin tasks, with weekly pay and potential temp-to-perm progression.

Shifts available include 18:00-02:30, 20:00-04:30, or 17:00-03:30, all in Oldbury. 28 days holiday, and no weekend work are highlighted benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous administration experience (transport or logistics experience is an advantage).
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Despatching transport drivers, agency drivers, and subcontracted routes.
• Ensuring on-time departures, by calling drivers and managing exception reporting.
• Performing general administrative tasks, such as answering telephone queries, printing route paperwork and maps.
• Providing additional administrative support to the LGV Coordinators, Transport Shift Managers and Transport Operations Managers.
