Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD is seeking an organised Attendance Officer for a school in Northamptonshire on a temporary basis, starting after half term. The role focuses on monitoring attendance, maintaining records and responding to attendance enquiries.

Ideal candidates will have strong admin and IT skills, excellent communication, reliability and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. School attendance experience is desirable; safeguarding checks apply.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record pupil attendance and punctuality.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and update school systems.
• Support attendance-related administration and enquiries.
• Communicate professionally with parents, carers and school staff regarding attendance matters.
• Identify attendance concerns and ensure information is recorded and followed up appropriately.
• Provide general administrative support to the wider school team.
