Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a Sales Ledger Admin on a temporary basis to support the finance function in Gloucester. You will help reduce aged debt, ensure timely invoicing and maintain accurate sales ledger records.

The role is a 2-month contract with a competitive rate, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, in Gloucester. Previous credit control or accounts receivable experience is essential, with proficiency in Sage and Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Credit Control or Accounts Receivable role.
• Proficient in Sage and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts to ensure payments are received on time.
• Proactively chase overdue invoices by phone, email and letters.
• Assess and set credit limits for new/existing customers.
• Carry out credit checks and evaluate customer risk.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate credit control and sales ledger records.
• Collaborate with Sales and Finance to resolve billing queries.
