Job summary

Adecco are recruiting a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk for a client in Hallen, Bristol. The role supports the accounts team with invoices, reconciliations and supplier queries.

Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, immediate start, training on the finance system where required. The successful candidate will work closely with the Accounts Manager, maintaining accurate financial records and documentation in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Assistant position.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Office packages.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Experience with Access Financials would be advantageous, training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Compiling supplier payment runs.
• Carrying out bank reconciliations.
• Handling purchase ledger queries by telephone and email.
• Acting as the first point of contact for supplier enquiries.
• Assisting the Accounts Manager with day-to-day finance administration.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
